Release Notes for May 30, 2019
We added a new workspace feature that allows you to create up to five customized areas containing one or more widgets you commonly use. This new feature also allows you to create expanded views of your docket with just one click.

Release Notes for February 28
The MYUSPTO team continues to improve this product's features. We added the ability to search by proceeding number when adding items to your Trademark Docket. We also re-introduced the email notification feature for your Patent Docket collections, so you can receive emails when any status changes occur on any item.

Release Notes for November 30
We made the sign-in process easier for our customers, removing the reCaptcha for users who opt into two-step authentication. Also, for patent and trademark dockets, you can now delete multiple items in a collection quickly at one time.

PAIR bulk data decommissioned
Thank you for your interest in PAIR bulk data. That system has been decommissioned, but you can find all of the same information in the Patent Examination Data System.

Release notes for October 1, 2018
We made several updates to the account section to streamline your workflow before we add new features in the future. With this release, you can now manage your contacts with an address book, select or add a company name, and add your attorney state and bar number.

MyUSPTO release notes from July 28, 2018
The two-step authentication feature was updated to allow for the code to be received via a phone call.
The Trademark Docket was also updated. You will now be able to quickly filter out “dead records” from your search results.
Finally, we’ve released a new widget called the Trademark Form Finder. This widget allows you to quickly search for a trademark form by name, or locate it by action or response needed.

MyUSPTO release notes from March 30, 2018
In addition to status changes, the trademark docket green notification bell will also appear any time there is a change to certain prosecution history entries in a trademark record. These include: changes of owner, changes of correspondence, changes of attorney, changes of domestic representative, voluntary amendments, express abandonments/surrenders. This small subset of prosecution history updates was chosen because they may indicate unauthorized changes to a trademark case.
A new manage docket button will allow you to create new collections and opt-in to receive emails when status or certain prosecution history updates occur.

MyUSPTO release notes from November 10, 2017
In this release, you can now see which items have changed status over the past 14 days in your Patent Docket. In addition, we implemented a notification feature that allows you to receive an email when a status changes on items within a collection.
In the account area, there is now an ability to identify your interest as either patents, trademarks or both. This will help tailor your MyUSPTO experience as new widgets are added.

MyUSPTO release notes from August 26, 2017
The customize columns feature allows you to choose what data fields are displayed on the full screen view of your Patent or Trademark docket. Find it in the Full screen view of your docket.
Reminder to Trademark post-registration docket users: We are deactivating this widget and have eliminated the ability to create new collections and to add items to existing collections. Please move your collections to the Trademark docket.

MyUSPTO release notes from July 14, 2017
In this release, we introduced an optional extra layer of security for your USPTO.gov account. You can choose to sign-in with the extra security of two steps–the first with the email address and password as you always have, and the second with a special code that is sent separately via email.
There are other changes as well. We have updated the notification feature on the trademark docket. You now have the ability to select which notifications you would like to receive individual collection level. This allows you to receive only the emails for status changes on items of interest
Also, MyUSPTO will now notify you when a new Trademark Official Gazette was published. Turn on notifications in the Trademark Official Gazette widget.
