The Intellectual Property (IP) Attaché Program works to improve IP systems and to help U.S. stakeholders such as businesses, legal representatives, and rights holders internationally. The IP attachés are located in posts around the world. They provide assistance in all areas of IP to U.S. IP rights holders who are interested in matters including entering new foreign markets, resolving issues related to obtaining IP rights in foreign jurisdictions, and helping address IP enforcement challenges abroad.
