Due to ongoing precautionary measures, all USPTO offices remain closed to the public
All USPTO facilities are following a 3-phased Pandemic Re-opening Plan designed to balance safety and health concerns with operational needs. We are currently in Phase 1 of our Pandemic Re-opening Plan, and are closed to the public for safety and health reasons. We are also closed to the public in Phase 2, for the same reasons, but will re-open to the public in Phase 3. Progression to higher phases is based on geographic pandemic conditions, guidance from a number of federal entities and criteria established in OMB Memorandum M-21-25 issued on June 10, 2021.
We continue to offer online resources. For updates on COVID-19 and the USPTO, please visit our webpage: www.uspto.gov/coronavirus
