Did you know the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) is being retired in phases? As part of our goal to modernize our IT infrastructure, we're developing Trademark Center, a new platform for trademark prosecution.
Trademark Center features a new filing system, and introduces docketing and draft-sharing capabilities. The system is still in beta, and we’re regularly adding new features, but now is a great time to learn how your advanced TEAS drafting skills translate to the new platform.
In this in-depth presentation experts from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will:
- Explain why TEAS is being retired
- Discuss the differences between filing an application in TEAS and Trademark Center
- Highlight key features such as draft-sharing and automatic saving
This webinar will use a high degree of legal terminology and concepts familiar to experienced trademark professionals, but we encourage trademark filers of all experience levels to attend.
We’ll post a recording of this event on the Trademarks webinar series page about three weeks after the event.
Speakers
Matt Schwab, Senior Legal Administrator for Trademarks Technology and Systems
