Assignment Center Patent Search Service Alert
Effective July 24, 2026, Assignment Search will be enhanced to provide updated assignment information, helping users access the most current assignment data available.
Assignment Center Patent Export Assignment Data Update: Effective July 24, 2026, Patent Export Assignment Data Search will move to the Open Data Portal and will no longer be available in Assignment Center. Users who select the Patent Export Data link within Assignment Center will be redirected to the Open Data Portal patent assignment search page to perform bulk data searches. Using the Open Data Portal Patent File Wrapper (Bulk Datasets) page users can search on assignments using the API query available.
Reference Document Management Services (RDMS) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform routine maintenance from 12:01- 5 a.m. ET on Thursday, July 30.
The following manuals will be unavailable between 12:01 am – 1:30 am on Thursday July 30.
