You don't have to be in Uniform to protect this country's assets

We are strongly committed to hiring our nation’s veterans and aim to be the employer of choice for veterans.

Our veteran employees have a proven track record of success after transitioning from the military into federal service. Veterans contribute to our mission in the areas of science and engineering, information technology, contracts, procurement, finance, administration, project and program management and customer support.

Last year we hosted a special exhibit on USPTO veterans and their stories. This series of portraits highlights veterans through personal keepsakes of their military service or of a loved one who served - and explains, in the words of the USPTO employees holding the keepsakes, what these items mean to them. In case you missed it, take a look at the online exhibit at http://bit.ly/2C3VPN2 to see the personal keepsakes and read the stories shared by our employees.

Did you know that, since our highly successful Veteran Hiring program began in 2012, we’ve hired approximately 800 veterans or transitioning service members which accounts for 6% of the total workforce. Take a look at our positions on USAJOBS.
