This summer, Director Iancu held an all-employee town hall at USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, VA. Along with Chief Information Officer Jamie Holcombe, Commissioner for Patents Drew Hirshfeld, and Commissioner for Trademarks Mary Denison, Director Iancu discussed important agency updates, with a focus on the USPTO’s ongoing IT transformation. The town hall was the first for new CIO Holcombe who spoke about how critically important an improved IT infrastructure is to advancing USPTO's mission and better serving inventors and entrepreneurs.
