2016 National Trademark Expo

The 2016 National Trademark Expo will be held on October 21st (10:00 am to 5:00 pm) and 22nd (10:00 am to 4:00 pm), 2016 at the beautiful Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium located at 1301 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20240.  The Expo is open to any owner of a federally-registered trademark.  This free, family-fun, educational event includes exhibitors, kids programs, costumed characters, seminars, and more.  The Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium is a very brief walk from the Federal Triangle Station of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) subway station and provides very convenient access.

This year our guest speaker at the Expo’s opening ceremony will be Kevin Haley, Under Armour’s President, Category Management & Innovation.  Mr Haley is responsible for internally and externally driving the Company’s innovation practices as well as for allowing the creation of cutting-edge products with a head-to-toe approach. Kevin oversees the state-of-the-art Innovation Lab and works in tandem with the Chief Merchandising Officer driving integration of Design, Innovation, Apparel, Footwear, Accessories and Merchandising. Prior to his current role, Mr. Haley served as the Senior Vice President of Consumer Insights, providing strategic and actionable insights from the consumer to all Under Armour business units. In addition, Mr. Haley worked to identify the Under Armour consumer, as well as his or her wants and needs, enabling the company to expand as a brand while staying true to its roots of athlete-driven innovation.

Also at the opening ceremony will be the U.S. Army’s Continental Color Guard wearing replica 1784-style infantry uniforms, and a singing of our National Anthem by Pamela Rinehart.

The Expo serves to educate the public about trademarks, thereby advancing the USPTO's mission to deliver intellectual property information and education to the public.  The following exhibitors will be attending the Expo this year and are sure to make the event as exciting as ever!  Some are returning exhibitors and many of them are new to the Expo.
