Intellectual property webinar for K-12 educators

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) hosts monthly virtual professional development webinars for K-12 educators interested in integrating intellectual property (IP), innovation, and invention activities into their STEM/STEAM curriculum. Educators can learn about different types of IP, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Sessions are held on the last Tuesday of each month from 6-7:30 p.m. ET.

This month’s webinar features Rosalita Santiago, a K-12 STEM Specialist for Arlington County, Virginia public schools, and an alumnus of the 2019 USPTO National Summer Teacher Institute (NSTI). Join us us on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 6 p.m. ET, to learn how Rosalita is using language arts to transform her district’s approach to STEM/STEAM education.
