Multiple Planned Events

Multiple System Maintenances

The USPTO will perform maintenance on multiple systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Friday, October 26 and ending at 9 a.m., Friday, October 26 ET.

The following systems will not be available during the maintenance period:

  • Adjudicated Case Tracking Systems (ACTS)
  • Electronic Freedom of Information Act (EFOIA)
  • Electronic Filing System-Web (EFS-Web)
  • One Portfolio Dossier (OPD)
  • Order Entry Management System (OEMS)
  • Patent Global Dossier Public Access Dossier (P-GD-PAD)
  • Patent Maintenance Fees Storefront (FPNG)
  • Private Patent Application Information Retrieval (Private PAIR)
  • Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB E2E) 
  • Public Patent Application Information Retrieval (Public PAIR)

 

EFS-Web Applicants

During the maintenance period, if you need to file a new patent applications (except 371 National Stage), please use EFS-Web Contingency: https://www.uspto.gov/patents-application-process/applying-online/efs-web-contingency

For follow-on submissions, please use an alternative filing method

Maintenance impacting USPTO Online Business Systems

The USPTO will perform maintenance impacting USPTO Online Business Systems beginning at 11:59 p.m., Thursday, October 25 and ending at 5 a.m., Friday, October 26 ET.

During the maintenance period, there may be brief service interruptions to USPTO Online Business Systems.

Systems Maintenance

The USPTO will perform systems maintenance beginning at 12:01 a.m., Friday, October 26 and ending at 1 a.m., Friday, October 26 ET.

The my.uspto.gov website will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

For Financial Manager Customers:

Financial Manager customers will not be able to log into their accounts to make fee payments using their Deposit Account, EFT, or Credit/Debit Card stored payment methods; however, customers may pay as a guest using a Credit/Debit card.

For EFS-Web and Private PAIR Customers:

USPTO.gov account authentication to EFS-Web, Private PAIR, and the Migration Tool will be unavailable.
