Multiple Planned Events

TSDR Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) system beginning at 10 p.m., Friday, January 26, and ending at 2 a.m., Saturday, January 27 ET.

Links to TSDR will not be available from the following systems:

  • Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
  • Trademark Electronic Application System International
  • Trademarks Electronic Official Gazette(TMOG)
  • Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Viewing on the Web (TTABVUE)
  • Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS)

 

TSDR will not be available. Please save all work prior to logging off TSDR.

OEMS Maintenance

The USPTO will perform software upgrade on the Online document Ordering System, also known as the Order Entry Management System (OEMS), beginning at 8 p.m., Friday, January 26 and ending at 2 a.m., Saturday, January 27 ET. 

OEMS will be unavailable during the maintenance period. 

Patent Maintenance Fees Storefront Maintenance

The USPTO will be performing maintenance activities impacting some of the services on the Patent Maintenance Fees Storefront Page beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, January 27 and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, January 27 ET.

During the maintenance period, there may be brief interruptions to Maintenance Fee lookups and/or Maintenance Fee Payments. Additionally, between 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m. customers will not be able to upload bulk maintenance fee files.  

Payment Processing Outage

Beginning at 8 p.m., Saturday, January 27 and ending at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, January 28 ET, payment processing across the USPTO storefronts will be unavailable due to maintenance.

The maintenance will cause an outage to Financial Manager, an outage to Patent Maintenance Fee Storefront, and interruption to payment processing for all USPTO storefronts. Users of the following systems should not attempt to make a payment during the maintenance period:

  • Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web & EFS-Web Contingency)
  • Patent Maintenance Fee Storefront
  • Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
  • Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
  • Electronic Trademark Assignment Search (ETAS)
  • Order Entry Management System (OEMS)
  • Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
  • Patent Trial and Appeal Board End to End (PTAB E2E)

The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting several systems beginning at 9 p.m., Sunday, January 28 and ending at 5 a.m., Monday, January 29 ET. The following systems and systems that interface with these systems will be unavailable during the maintenance period:

The maintenance will also cause interruptions to payment processing for users of the Electronic Trademark Assignment Search (ETAS), the Order Entry Management System (OEMS), the Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board End to End (PTAB-E2E).

Private PAIR

Users who make updates using Private PAIR will not be able to review the updates until after the maintenance is complete.

EFS-Web Applicants

During the maintenance period, if you are unable to file patent applications or submissions, please use an alternative filing method.

MyUSPTO.gov and Fee Processing Maintenance

The USPTO will perform systems maintenance beginning at 8 p.m., Saturday, January 27 and ending at 11:59 p.m., Saturday, January 27 ET.

The my.uspto.gov website will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

The maintenance will cause an outage to Financial Manager, an outage to Patent Maintenance Fee Storefront, and interruption to payment processing for all USPTO storefronts. Users of the following systems should not attempt to make a payment during the maintenance period:
