System Maintenance
The USPTO will implement new account management technology from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 25 ET.
During this time, the following systems may be unavailable:

Patent Customers: During the maintenance period, applicants may file new applications, except for National Stage applications under 35 U.S.C. 371, via EFS-Web Unregistered. If you need to file a National Stage application under 35 U.S.C. 371 or follow-on submission to an existing application during the maintenance period, please use the alternative filing method.
PTAB/P-TACTS Customers: If your deadline is today for the petition filing and/or other associated documents to a pending America Invents Act (AIA) case and you cannot file electronically via Patent Trial and Appeal Case Tracking System (P-TACTS), you may use an alternate filing method. Please visit the P-TACTS FAQ page: https://www.uspto.gov/sites/default/files/documents/p-tacts_faqs_20221007.pdf and see A2 for information concerning your America Invents Act (AIA) petition filing and/or document filing using P-TACTS alternative filing methods.

Trademark System (TM) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the TM systems from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 25 ET.
During the maintenance period, the following systems will remain available, but mark images and documents will be unavailable:

The USPTO will be updating our sign-in experience beginning on Thursday, May 25.
You may notice slight differences as we continue to improve your USPTO.gov account experience during the following week. No action is required on your part for this update.

The maintenance will also cause interruptions to payment processing for users of the Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA), the Electronic Trademark Assignment Search (ETAS), the Order Entry Management System (OEMS), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board End to End (PTAB-E2E).

Patent Electronic Filing System-Web (EFS-Web) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on EFS-Web from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 28 ET.
During this maintenance period, Fee Worksheets and Acknowledgement Receipts for submissions will not be generated.
Applicants may file submissions in EFS-Web during this time but wait until Monday for those documents to be generated. Applicants may still file submissions via Patent Center.
Trademark
Trial and Appeal Board VUE (TTABVUE) and Trademark Trial and Appeals-Reading
Room (TTAB-RR) Migration
The USPTO will perform a
migration on TTABVUE and TTAB-RR from the Production Data Center in Alexandria
to a new Data Center in Manassas, from 12:01 a.m. until 5 a.m. on Saturday,
June 3 ET.
Note: During the migration window, TTABVUE and TTAB-RR will be unavailable.
Electronic
Patent Assignments System (EPAS) and Electronic Trademark Assignments System
(ETAS)
The
USPTO Certified Copy and Assignments (CC&A) Product team will perform
maintenance on the EPAS and ETAS systems from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 3 ET.
During
the maintenance period, the EPAS and ETAS products will be unavailable.
