Private Patent Application Information Retrieval (Private-PAIR) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on Private-PAIR beginning at 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 20 and ending at 11 p.m., Wednesday, July 20 ET.
During the maintenance period, Private PAIR will be unavailable. Please use Patent Center as an alternative to electronically retrieve patent applications.
Patent Office Action to XML (P-OA2XML) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on P-OA2XML systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Wednesday, July 20 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 20 ET.
During the maintenance period, DOCX and XML downloads will not be available in Private PAIR and Patent Center.
MyUSPTO Maintenance
The USPTO will add outbound host micro-segmentation policies to MyUSPTO beginning at 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 20 and ending at 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 20 ET.
New host outbound policies are based on application requirements.
During the maintenance period, users might experience some interruption of service.
Electronic Library for Patents (P-ELP) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on P-ELP for three consecutive nights. The dates are as follows:
• The first night of maintenance will begin at 12:01 a.m., Thursday, July 21 and end at5:30 a.m., Thursday, July 21 ET.
• The second night of maintenance will begin at 12:01 a.m., Friday, July 22 and end at 5:30 a.m., Friday, July 22 ET.
• The final night of maintenance will begin at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, July 24 and end at 5:30 a.m., Sunday, July 24 ET.
P-ELP will be available during the maintenance period; however, some operations may be briefly interrupted or delayed.
Integrated Quality System (IQS) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on IQS beginning at 12:01 a.m., Friday, July 22 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Friday, July 22 ET.
During the maintenance period, IQS will be unavailable.
Bulk Data Storage System (BDSS) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on BDSS beginning at 10 a.m., Friday, July 22 and ending at 3 p.m., Friday, July 22 ET.
During the maintenance period, the entire BDSS system will be unavailable.
Multiple Systems Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting multiple systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Friday, July 22 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Friday, July 22 ET.
Availability of Supplemental Content data for new applications and follow-ons filed during this maintenance period will be delayed in the following systems:
• Patent Center
• Private Patent Application Information Retrieval (Private PAIR)
Please check Patent Center or Private PAIR on Friday, July 22, 2022 after maintenance period for confirmation of availability of the Supplemental Content Data. Multiple Systems Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting several systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, July 23 and ending at 8 a.m., Saturday, July 23 ET.
During the maintenance period, the following systems and systems that interface with these systems will be unavailable:

The maintenance will also cause interruptions to payment processing for users of the Electronic Trademark Assignment Search (ETAS), the Order Entry Management System (OEMS), the Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board End to End (PTAB-E2E).

The USPTO will perform maintenance on P-GD-PAD and OPD systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, July 24 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Sunday, July 24 ET.
During the maintenance period, GD-PAD and OPD application may be unavailable.
Patent Electronic Filing System-Web (EFS-Web) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on EFS-Web beginning at 8 p.m., Sunday, July 24 and ending at 10 p.m., Sunday, July 24 ET.
During this maintenance period, Fee Worksheets and Acknowledgement Receipts for submissions will not be generated.
Applicants may file submissions in EFS-Web during this time, but wait until Monday for those documents to be generated. Applicants may still file submissions via Patent Center.
