eOffice Action Notifications Delayed

The USPTO is aware that some customers did not receive an eOffice Action communication for new Patents correspondence having Monday, July 18 and Tuesday, July 19 mail dates.

The USPTO is working to resend these eOffice Action communications today, July 19.

Patent Center, EFS-Web, TEAS, and TEASi Intermittent Filing Issues

Users are intermittently receiving a 429 eError code “too many requests” when attempting to log into their USPTO.gov accounts to file in Patent Center, EFS-Web, TEAS and TEASi. The workarounds for this error are clearing the browser cache or switching web browsers.

Other USPTO systems may also be affected. The USPTO technical teams are investigating.

USPTO 429 errors

Users that are experiencing 429 Errors accessing USPTO systems will need to clear their cache and then retry.

If unsuccessful, please proceed to the "Reset Password" procedure to register a new password with My.USPTO.gov to get access to any USPTO system.
