Open Data Portal Maintenance
The USPTO will perform an update on the Open Data Portal beginning at 9 a.m., Thursday, June 8 and ending at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, June 8 ET.
Some users could experience a momentary loss of connection during the cutover to the new site.
This update includes the bulk search and download API and user interfaces. These provide the capability to search published patent grants and applications across various fields, and to request a custom zip package for the given patent or application IDs. The update also includes a visualization module which links to data set APIs within the Open Data Portal. The portal is available at developer.uspto.gov.
Network Maintenance
The USPTO will perform network maintenance beginning at 11:55 p.m., Thursday, June 8 and ending at 4 a.m., Friday, June 9 ET.
During the maintenance period, users trying to access USPTO.gov connected sites may experience brief and intermittent connectivity issues.
TMNG System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark TMNG System beginning at 12:01 a.m., Friday, June 9 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Friday, June 9 ET.
TMNG-IDM, and Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG) will be unavailable, however, the PDF version of the gazette will be available during the maintenance period. Trademarks Search and Document Retrieval (TSDRi) will be available with reduced functionality during the maintenance period. The maintenance will also prevent use of the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) initial application forms.
