Resolved: Patent Center, Electronic Filing System-Web (EFS-Web), and Private Patent Application Information Retrieval (Private-PAIR) Issues

The previously reported issue which impacted Patent Center, EFS-Web and Private-PAIR has been resolved. If you are still experiencing the issue or have questions, please contact the Patent Electronic Business Center (EBC) at (866) 217-9197 during their operating hours of 6 a.m., to midnight, Monday - Friday ET, or email ebc@uspto.gov.

Fee Payment Processing Outage- RESOLVED (as of 1:55pm ET, Dec 16)

The USPTO intermittent network slowness/latency which was causing overall system slowness for fees.uspto.gov has been resolved as of 1:55pm, Friday, December 16th ET.

Trademark Electronic Official Gazette (TM-eOG) and Trademark ID Manual (IDM)

The USPTO is experiencing some intermittent network slowness/latency which is causing overall system slowness for TM-eOG and IDM as of 9:15 am., Friday, December 16 ET. 

The issue has been resolved as of 1:45 ET, and our staff continues to monitor.   

Multiple Public Facing Systems Impact

The USPTO is currently experiencing significantly degraded performance in a critical component used for public filings and fee payments. This issue affects all public access to USPTO public-facing systems. Technical teams are assessing the outage and will provide additional information as warranted.

     Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR-API)

TEAS and TEASi Issues 

The USPTO is currently experiencing technical difficulties with TEAS and TEASi, you may be unable to submit forms or pay fees. We are working to restore service as quickly as possible. At this time, we don’t know when services will be fully restored but additional information will be posted as soon as it’s available.  

If your deadline is today and this technical issue is preventing you from filing your documents using TEAS or TEASi, you should fax your documents to the Petitions Office using the fax coversheet at 571-273-8950.
