Volunteer to improve the USPTO website experience

As part of our efforts to continuously improve the customer experience on our website, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is asking for feedback from our customers to enhance and modernize our digital spaces. Sign up to volunteer to participate in future research. Volunteers may choose to participate in interviews, questionnaires, usability testing, and focus groups.

We are currently researching how customers find information on www.USPTO.gov and looking for improved ways to accomplish common customer tasks, like searching for patents or trademark information, applying for intellectual property protection, or registering for events. If you would like to share your experience with our informational website, please volunteer so that we hear your valuable feedback.

“This effort advances our goal of enhancing customer experience and providing easily accessible information right at your fingertips,” said Kathi Vidal, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the USPTO. “We are grateful for volunteers who will help us better serve all stakeholders and the innovation ecosystem through improved online customer service.”

The USPTO is committed to incorporating feedback from our customers to enhance the accessibility, design, and overall customer satisfaction with our agency. Stay up to date on our most recent website improvements
