Have you noticed something different about the look and feel of www.uspto.gov? We’ve updated our website design to improve your experience.

What do the changes mean? The design refresh brings:

You might also notice that we’ve added a banner that identifies www.uspto.gov as an official United States government website, plus we’ve simplified the footer navigation at the bottom of our webpages to make it easier for you to sign up for email alerts. 

We’ve also made it easier for you to give feedback on your website experience: simply select either the “Helpful” or “Not Helpful” button at the bottom of the page. This feature is now available across the entire website, so we can better understand how you engage with our content.

These changes lay the foundation for additional enhancements that will continue improving our website’s look, feel, and ease of access as we continue our effort to meet requirements from the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act (IDEA).
