Design Webinar Series: Implementing design patents into a business strategy

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) hosted its first annual Design Webinar Series in 2021 and continued in 2022 with a focus on developing your design strategy. These series demonstrated the many benefits design patents bring to an intellectual property (IP) portfolio, both in terms of maximizing value and success in enforcement.

The USPTO continues these discussions with the annual Design Webinar Series in 2023. Register now to join the second session, hosted by the USPTO's Texas Regional Office and Elijah J. McCoy Midwest Regional Office

In the second session, we'll progress to an intermediate discussion on the USPTO's perspective on leveraging design patents, and the path applications take from filing to grant. Our industry experts will give an overview of the nuances of developing a global design patents strategy and aligning that strategy with an overall portfolio strategy while avoiding common pitfalls.
