Trademark System Retirement
The USPTO will retire Trademark Design and Search Code Manual (TDSCM) and Trademark External Search System (TESS) beginning at 11:59 p.m. on November 30 ET.
Users will need to save all work and exit the systems before the retirement.
Assignments Historical Database (AHD) and Patent and Trademark Assignment System (PTAS) Migration
The USPTO Certified Copy and Assignments (CC&A) Product team will perform database migration to Rocky Linux in production on PTAS and AHD databases beginning at 9 a.m., Saturday, December 2 and ending at 4 p.m., Sunday, December 3 ET.
During the maintenance period, the following system products will be unavailable:
• AHD
• Assignments on the Web (AOTW)
• Electronic Patent Assignment System (EPAS)
• Electronic Trademark Assignment System (ETAS)
• Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Inquiry System (TTABVUE)
• Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR)
