Patent Electronic Filing System – Web (EFS-Web) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on EFS-Web from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 2 ET.

During this maintenance period, Fee Worksheets and Acknowledgement Receipts for submissions will not be generated.

Applicants may file submissions in EFS-Web during this time, but wait until Monday for those documents to be generated. Applicants may still file submissions via Patent Center.

MyUSPTO Updates

The USPTO will be performing updates to MyUSPTO experience from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5 ET. Users may notice slight differences in the security preferences workflow as we continue to improve your USPTO.gov account experience. 

No action is required for this update.

Trademark System Maintenance 

The USPTO will perform maintenance on Trademark systems from 12:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5 ET.

The following systems will be impacted:

    • Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG) will not be available. You can access recent PDF versions of the gazette on the Trademark Official Gazette webpage.

For archived PDF versions of gazettes dating back to 2001, visit the archived editions page.  

    • Trademarks ID Manual (IDM) will not be available.

    • Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) initial application forms will not be available. 

    • TTAB Reading Room will not be available.

    • Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) will be unavailable.  

The following systems will remain available, but links to and images derived from TSDR will be unavailable, including mark images.

    • Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) (all forms except the initial application forms will be available)

    • Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
