Enterprise Scanner Migration

The USPTO will perform a DMZ migration on Enterprise Scanner from the Production Data Center in Alexandria to a new Data Center in Manassas, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 22 ET.   

During the migration window, ES will be unavailable.  If customers have any issues after the maintenance, please call the Service Desk.

Enterprise Contact Center (ECC) Migration

The USPTO will perform a migration on ECC from the Production Data Center in Alexandria to a new Data Center in Manassas, from 12:01 a.m. until 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 24 ET.    

Note: During the migration period, ECC will be unavailable.   

Multiple
Systems Maintenance

The
USPTO will perform database patching maintenance on several of the USPTO's
financial systems beginning at 11:30 p.m., Friday, June 23 and ending at 2
a.m., Saturday, June 24 ET.

The
Vendor Portal application will remain available to manage invoices.







Users
will be unable to submit invoices or eDeliverables during the downtime. 

Production
Data Center Migration

The USPTO will perform a DMZ
migration on the various products from the Production Data Center in Alexandria
to a new Data Center in Manassas, from 12:01 a.m. until 6 a.m., on Saturday,
June 24 ET. 

These products will not be
available during the migration window: 


  • Assignments
    on the Web (AOTW) 

During the maintenance, TSDR
and 
TTABVue application assignment data will be unavailable


  • Enterprise
    Cybersecurity Monitoring Operations (ECMO) 

  • Electronic
    System for Trademarks Trials Appeals (ESTTA) 

  • Patent
    Application Text Initiative - Continuous Data Conversion (PATI-CDC) 

  • Trilateral
    Network (TRINet)

Multiple System Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting multiple systems from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, June 24 ET.

The following systems will be unavailable during the maintenance period:

    • EFS-Web for Registered eFilers, Unregistered eFilers, and EFS-Web Contingency

    • Private PAIR

Patent Center will be available as an alternative to electronically file and retrieve patent applications. Please refer to our Filing Documents during an Outage page for other alternative filing method.

Global Dossier - Public Access Dossier (P-GD-PAD) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on P-GD-PAD from 12 a.m. until 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 24 ET. 

During the maintenance period, P-GD-PAD will be unavailable.

Multiple System Maintenance

The USPTO will be performing routine maintenance on database server DSB-CORP-DB-1 uspto.gov from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 25 ET. 

During the maintenance, there will be complete outage for the following systems:

        • Assignments Historical Database (AHD)

        • Assignments on the Web (AOTW)

        • Electronic Patent Assignment System (EPAS)

        • Electronic Trademark Assignment System (ETAS)

        • Data Architecture Tools (DAT -Metadata, ER/Studio)

        • Office of Enrollment and Discipline (OEDIS)

        • Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR)

        • Trademark Trial and Appeal Board VUE (TTABVUE)

Patent Electronic Filing System – Web (EFS-Web) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on EFS-Web from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 25 ET.

During this maintenance period, Fee Worksheets and Acknowledgement Receipts for submissions will not be generated.

Applicants may file submissions in EFS-Web during this time but wait until Monday for those documents to be generated. Applicants may still file submissions via Patent Center.
