One or more systems affected by planned maintenance

Data Center Migration

 The USPTO will perform a DMZ migration on the various products from the Production Data Center in Alexandria to a new Data Center in Manassas, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20 ET. 

During the migration window, these products will be unavailable: 

  • PTOnet (PTONet) 
  • Identity, Credential, and Access Management-Authenticator (ICAM-Authenticator) 
  • Enterprise Scanner (ES) 
  • Trilateral Network (TRINet) 


If customers have any issues after the maintenance, please call the Service Desk.

Office of Enrollment and Discipline (OEDIS) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the OEDIS system on the following nights:

    • The first night of maintenance will be from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20 ET.

    • The final night of maintenance will be from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m., on Wednesday, June 21 ET.

During the maintenance period, OEDIS will be unavailable.

Multiple System Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting multiple systems from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21 ET.

During this maintenance period, availability of Supplemental Content data for new applications and follow-ons filed will be delayed in the following systems:

  • Patent Center
  • Private Patent Application Information Retrieval (Private PAIR)

Please check Patent Center or Private PAIR after the maintenance period for confirmation of availability of the Supplemental Content Data. If you have questions, please contact the Patent Electronic Business Center (EBC) at (866) 217-9197 during their operating hours of 6 a.m. to midnight, Monday - Friday ET, or email ebc@uspto.gov.

Enterprise Scanner Migration

The USPTO will perform a DMZ migration on Enterprise Scanner from the Production Data Center in Alexandria to a new Data Center in Manassas, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 22 ET.   

During the migration window, ES will be unavailable.  If customers have any issues after the maintenance, please call the Service Desk.

Multiple System Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting multiple systems from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21 ET.

During this maintenance period, availability of Supplemental Content data for new applications and follow-ons filed will be delayed in the following systems:

migration on ECC from the Production Data Center in Alexandria to a new Data
Center in Manassas, from 12:01 a.m. until 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 24
ET.    





Note:
During the migration period, ECC will be unavailable.

to a new Data Center in Manassas, from 12:01 a.m. until 6 a.m., on Saturday,
June 24 ET. 

These products will not be
available during the migration window:

    on the Web (AOTW) 

  • Enterprise
    Cybersecurity Monitoring Operations (ECMO) 

  • Electronic
    System for Trademarks Trials Appeals (ESTTA) 

  • Patent
    Application Text Initiative - Continuous Data Conversion (PATI-CDC) 

  • Trilateral
    Network (TRINet)
