The USPTO will perform maintenance on servers affecting PSIPS beginning at 11:59 p.m., Tuesday, April 4 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 5 ET. 

During this maintenance period, users may experience intermittent issues with PSIPS.

Generation (FPNG) Credit Card Payment Maintenance

Due to third-party system maintenance activities, credit/debit
card payments will not be accepted from 9 p.m. until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday,
April 5 ET.  

During the maintenance period, the following USPTO storefronts

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Account may still pay using one of these
payment methods during the maintenance window.

If your deadline is today for the petition filing and/or other
associated documents to a pending AIA case and you cannot file electronically
via the Patent Trial and Appeal Board End-to-End System (PTAB-E2E), you may use

If your deadline is today and the document requiring a fee
payment cannot be filed electronically, you must use an alternative method of

Bulk Data Storage System (BDSS) Maintenance


The USPTO will perform maintenance on BDSS from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5 ET. 

The entire BDSS system will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) and Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the TEAS and TEASi systems from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 8 ET.

To minimize the risk of disruption, we recommend closing any active sessions and stopping your work between 9 and 9:15 a.m. ET.
