Patent Electronic
Filing System-Web (EFS-Web) and Patent Center Update
The USPTO will
perform internal updates impacting new applications filed via Patent
Center and EFS-Web on two consecutive nights. The dates are as follows:
- The beginning night of maintenance will be from 12:15 a.m. until 1:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15 ET.
- The
final night of maintenance will be from 12:15 a.m. until 1:15 a.m. on
Thursday, March 16 ET.
During the update
period, impacted applications may experience extended delays in availability
for retrieval within Patent Center and Private Patent Application Information
Retrieval (Private-PAIR).
Customers should
check back during regular business hours, if their submission is impacted.
Trademark Content Management System (TM-CMS) and Trademark Abstraction Layer (TM-AL) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the TM-CMS and TM-AL systems from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Friday, March 17 ET.
During the maintenance period, the following systems will remain available, but mark images and documents will be unavailable:
• Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
• Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
• Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR)
