Global Dossier (GD) Maintenance



The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Global Dossier system beginning at 10 p.m., Tuesday, December 20 and
ending at 2 a.m., Wednesday, December 21 ET.



During the maintenance period, P-GD-PAD and One Portal
Dossier (OPD) users may experience temporary disruption of service.

Bulk Data Storage System (BDSS) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the BDSS from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21 ET.

During the maintenance period, BDSS will be unavailable.

Office of Enrollment Discipline Information System (OEDIS) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the OEDIS from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21 ET.

During the maintenance period, OEDIS will be unavailable.


Multiple Systems

The USPTO will be performing maintenance from 12:01 a.m. until 2 a.m. on Wednesday,
December 21 ET. 

External users will not be
able to access any Okta protected endpoints.

During this

Patent
Customers:

During the
maintenance period, applicants may file new applications, except for National
Stage applications under 35 U.S.C. 371, via EFS-Web Unregistered.

If you need
to file a National Stage application under 35 U.S.C. 371 or follow-on
submission to an existing application during the maintenance period, please use
the alternative filing method.

PTAB
Customers: If your deadline is today for the petition filing and/or other
associated documents to a pending America Invents Act (AIA) case and you cannot
file electronically via the Patent Trial and Appeal Board End-to-End (PTAB-E2E)
System, you may use an alternative filing method. Please visit the PTAB-E2E FAQ

see A2 for information concerning your America Invents Act (AIA) petition
filing and/or document filing using PTAB-E2E alternative filing methods. If you

Trademark
Customers: Filing deadlines that fall on a Saturday extend the filing
deadline to the next business day. Please try filing again after the

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the PEDS system from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, December 22 ET.

During the maintenance period, users may not experience any disruption of service. However, the public browser users will be required to refresh their browsers to get the latest changes in PEDS user interface.
