Multiple Systems Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on multiple systems beginning at 8 a.m., Thursday, May 26 and ending at 4 p.m., Thursday, May 26 ET.

During the maintenance period, the following systems and systems that interface with these systems should not be disrupted:

  • Patent Center
  • EFS-Web for Registered eFilers
  • Private PAIR

If you have questions, please contact the Patent Electronic Business Center (EBC) at (866) 217-9197 during their operating hours of 6 a.m., to 12 a.m., Monday - Friday ET, or email ebc@uspto.gov.

Trademark System Maintenance

The OCIO will perform maintenance on the Trademark Examination system beginning at 12 a.m., Friday, May 27 and ending at 2 a.m., Friday, May 27 ET.

The following systems may incur a brief outage or loss of functionality during the maintenance:

    •    Trademark Next Generation ID Manual (TMNG-IDM)
    •    Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG)

USPTO Customer Contact Management System (UCCMS) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on UCCMS beginning at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, May 29 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Sunday, May 29 ET

During the Maintenance period, UCCMS will be unavailable.

Before the maintenance period, users should save all work and log off.

Patent Electronic Filing System-Web (EFS-Web) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on EFS-Web beginning at 8 p.m., Sunday, May 29 and ending at 10 p.m., Sunday, May 29 ET.

During this maintenance period, Fee Worksheets and Acknowledgement Receipts for submissions will not be generated.

Applicants may file submissions in EFS-Web during this time, but wait until Monday for those documents to be generated. Applicants may still file submissions via Patent Center.
