Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on servers affecting the PTAB system beginning at 12:01 a.m., Friday, April 22 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Friday, April 22 ET.

During the maintenance period, users may experience intermittent issues with PTAB.

Trademark System Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark (TM) systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, April 23 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, April 23 ET.

During the maintenance period, the following systems will remain available, but mark images and documents will be unavailable:

  • Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
  • Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
  • Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR)
  • TTAB Reading Room


Patent Electronic Filing System-Web (EFS-Web) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on EFS-Web beginning at 8 p.m., Sunday, April 24 and ending at 10 p.m., Sunday, April 24 ET.

During this maintenance period, Fee Worksheets and Acknowledgement Receipts for submissions will not be generated.

Applicants may file submissions in EFS-Web during this time, but wait until Monday for those documents to be generated. Applicants may still file submissions via Patent Center.


Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) and Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the TEAS and TEASi systems beginning at 8 a.m., Saturday, April 30 and ending at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 30 ET.

During the maintenance period, TEAS and TEASi will be unavailable.

E-signature links for third party signatures and saved forms will work following the deployment.
