Multiple Systems Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on servers affecting multiple systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Friday, December 3 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Friday, December 3 ET.

During the maintenance period, users may experience intermittent issues with the following systems:

    •    Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
    •    Trademark Trial and Appeal Board VUE (TTABVUE)
    •    Trademark Trial and Appeal Board  Reading Room (TTAB RR)
    •    Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Information System (TTABIS)

App Dynamics (APPD) Retirement

The USPTO will be disabling APPD beginning at 12 a.m., Friday, December 3 and ending at 5 a.m., Friday, December 3 ET.

There may be a brief outage to the following applications:

    •    One Portal Dossier (OPD)    
    •    Global Dossier - Public Access Dossier (GD-PAD)
    •    Comprehensive Patent Family Mapping (CPFM)
    •    Reference Document Management Services (RDMS)
    •    Central Enterprise Data Repository (CEDR)

Users will need to turn off APPD on their applications.

USPTO Customer Contact Management System (UCCMS) Deployment

The USPTO will deploy UCCMS 4.8 beginning at 9 p.m., Friday, December 3 and ending at 5 a.m., Monday, December 6 ET.

During the deployment, customers contacting public-facing contact centers may experience longer than usual wait times.

Trademark System Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark (TM) systems beginning at 10 p.m., Saturday, December 4 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Sunday, December 5 ET.

During the maintenance period, the following systems will remain available, but mark images and documents will be unavailable:

    •    Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
    •    Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
    •    Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR)
    •    TTAB Reading Room

Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) system beginning at 10 p.m., Saturday, December 4 and ending at 2 a.m., Sunday, December 5 ET. 

During the maintenance period, TSDR will be unavailable.

Links to TSDR will not be available from the following systems:

    •    Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)     
    •    Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
    •    Trademarks Electronic Official Gazette (TMOG)

maintenance, we will be unable to accept fee payments between midnight,

    •     Registered Practitioner Portal
    •     Exam Applicant Portal

Electronic Filing System-Web (EFS-WEB) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on EFS-WEB beginning at 8 p.m., Sunday, December 5 and ending at 10 p.m., Sunday, December 5 ET.

During this maintenance period, Fee Worksheets and Acknowledgement Receipts for submissions will not be generated. There will be a delay before these documents will be available.
