TEAS and TEASi Two-Step Authentication Issue

TEAS and TEASi Two-Step Authentication Issue

Some TEAS and TEASi customers are currently receiving an error message when attempting to use the USPTO.gov login system, stating that the two-step authentication is unavailable. Customers receiving the message have selected email as the default method for receipt of the code. We recommend the workaround of switching the two-step authentication method. The USPTO is working to resolve the issue.

Impacted domains include:

  • Outlook.com
  • hotmail.com (hotmail.co.uk, msn.com, hotmlail.fr, etc.)
