Today: New Patent Customer Service Window hours take effect
Effective today, September 30, 2025, the Customer Service Window will now be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET (instead of midnight). During this time, you can hand-carry or deliver patent-related correspondence to the Customer Service Window. The Customer Service Window is located on the first floor of the Knox Building at USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.
