Protect yourself from scammers
You may encounter scammers offering to help file trademark applications and maintenance documents, respond to office actions, and submit filings at the USPTO's Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). They pretend to be in contact with us, and they create fake documents that appear official to trick you into paying made-up or inflated fees.
Protect yourself from scams:
-
Be suspicious of requests for money. Review USPTO trademark fees to confirm legitimate fees and amounts. The TTAB will never award monetary damages or order anyone to pay damages.
