Learn about the Cooperative Patent Classification system for the Internet of Things

An expert from our Classification Quality and International Coordination (CQIC) division will provide an overview of the CPC system, the IoT, relevant CPC areas, and CPC IoT examples. The event will conclude with an interactive question-and-answer segment.

The IoT describes the network of physical objects—“things”—that are embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies to connect and exchange data with other devices and systems over the internet. These devices range from ordinary household objects to sophisticated industrial tools.
