Inventors: Learn to think like a patent examiner
Join us for the Stakeholder Training on Examination Practice and Procedure (STEPP) four-day virtual course, Tuesday, August 5, through Friday, August 8. The course will meet daily from noon to 4:15 p.m. ET.
This course is open to current or future inventors and will focus on how examiners review patent applications.
Course details are available on the STEPP inventor general schedule. Attendees are expected to complete pre-activity homework. This includes completing several computer-based training modules and reading resource materials. Similar to the training of new USPTO examiners, a sample application will be provided as the focus of exercises during each module.
Interest forms will be accepted until Friday, August 1, or until full.
