Have you ever received a final rejection of your patent application and wanted to seek review of the examiner’s adverse decision in an ex parte appeal before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB)?

If so, then join us for the Ex Parte Appeal Roadshow series resuming December 2024 through May 2025 nationwide. Our PTAB judges will share:

  • Strategic considerations behind whether to file an ex parte appeal
  • Tips for making more persuasive written arguments
  • Ways to make an effective oral argument
  • Options available to an appellant after the Board’s decision

The first roadshow will be in person Thursday, December 5, 1-5 p.m. CT at Rice University's Fondren Library in Houston.
