Expanded Collaborative Search Pilot program to conclude

The USPTO’s expanded Collaborative Search Pilot (CSP) program, managed in collaboration with the Japan Patent Office and the Korean Intellectual Property Office, is set to expire on October 31, 2024. No petitions to participate in CSP received after that date will be accepted. All current applications and those accepted into the program based on a petition filed on or before October 31 will be treated according to program guidelines.

New worksharing programs that benefit both intellectual property offices and individual users are being explored. Those interested in learning more about such programs or providing feedback on USPTO worksharing programs may email Jessica Patterson, senior advisor and Director for International Worksharing at jessica.patterson@uspto.gov.
