Coming soon: PTAB LEAP mock argument practicum

Apply to participate in an America Invents Act (AIA) mock oral argument practicum, as part of the Legal Experience and Advancement Program (LEAP) at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).

The practicum will take place on Friday, May 10, from 1 to 4 p.m. ET. This session offers an opportunity for practitioners to hone their oral argument skills by presenting an AIA trial argument to a panel of sitting administrative patent judges. Participants will receive substantive feedback from the panel and will have an opportunity to engage in a question-and-answer session with the judges.

Preference will be given to LEAP-eligible attorneys, agents, and to those who have not participated in prior LEAP mock argument practicums. You are required to fill out an application to participate in the session. We will notify selected applicants by email. Please register by Friday, March 29.
