SOaR Joint Voices: Featuring the patents appeal process and highlights from the USPTO Texas Regional Office (TXRO)
Would you like to learn how to appeal a patent application decision before the Patent Trial and Appeals Board (PTAB)? If so, join us on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. ET for a virtual program provided by the United State Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Stakeholder Offerings and Resources (SOAR) program.
This online presentation will cover basic information about PTAB, provide an overview of the patent application appeal process, and highlight resources for inventors. You will also hear from Hope Shimabuku, Director of the Texas Regional Office (TXRO), about resources and programs TXRO offers to stakeholders in the region.
TXRO is one of four regional offices the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) operates nationwide, along with its headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. Combined, these offices provide inventors, entrepreneurs, and small businesses with a USPTO presence in every U.S. time zone.
While SOaR virtual training events are free to the public, preregistration is required. Once registered, you will be emailed instructions for joining the webinar.
For more information on SOaR, or to request a reasonable accommodation for a disability, email SOaR@uspto.gov.
