Search like an examiner with Patents Public Search

Are you interested in learning how to use the Patent Public Search (PPUBS) tool to search like an examiner? The United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Stakeholder Offerings and Resources (SOaR) program will show you how examiners use PPUBS during a virtual training webinar on Tuesday, March 28 at 3 p.m. ET.

An expert will demonstrate how to use PPUBS with examples of live searches, while highlighting techniques and proximity operators used by examiners. Additionally, a representative from the USPTO's Silicon Valley Regional Office will explain resources and programs offered by the regional offices.

SOaR training events are virtual and free to the public. Pre-registration is required. Once you register, you will receive an email with instructions for joining the webinar. For more information on SOaR or to request reasonable accommodation of a disability, email SOaR@uspto.gov

You can learn more about PPUBS in this USPTO Director's Blog.
