Next week: Artificial Intelligence Inventorship Listening Session - West Coast
Join us on May 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. PT virtually and in person at Stanford University in Stanford, California, for the Artificial Inventorship (AI) Listening Session - West Coast, as outlined in a Federal Register Notice issued April 17.
The purpose of these listening sessions is to seek stakeholder input on the current state of AI technologies and inventorship issues that may arise in view of the advancement of such technologies, as set forth in the questions posed in a previous Federal Register Notice, titled “Request for Comments Regarding Artificial Intelligence and Inventorship” and published February 14. Read the full text of this notice on the USPTO's AI news and reports webpage.
This hybrid event is free and open to the public. Attendees who would like to speak need to submit a request by May 2.
In-person seating is limited, so register today.
More information on the USPTO’s efforts regarding AI is available on the AI webpage and in this recent Director's blog.
