Latest update to the USPTO Trademark Assignment Dataset released

The 2022 update to the United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Trademark Assignment Dataset is now available to the public for free download. The USPTO records assignments of trademark applications and registrations, and other supporting documentation, to maintain a complete history of claimed interests in a mark. The research dataset consists of detailed information on 1.29 million assignments and other transactions recorded at the USPTO between March 1952 and January 2023, involving 2.28 million unique trademark properties (an individual application or registration).
