June 13: Join the leaders of the world’s largest IP offices as they discuss their shared commitment to advance climate-related innovations

Register to attend this online and in-person program on Tuesday, June 13, 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. ET | 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. HT, that will bring together a diverse group of intellectual property (IP) stakeholders and senior government officials to engage in wide-ranging discussions on incentivizing, protecting, and commercializing climate-related innovations.

The half-day program will feature presentations by leaders of the world’s five largest IP offices, the IP5:

  • Kathi Vidal, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office
  • Antonio Campinos, President of the European Patent Office
  • Hamano Koichi, Commissioner of the Japan Patent Office
  • Lee Insil, Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office
  • Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration

Other presenters will include representatives from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), industry, and the Hawaiian innovation community.

This in-person program will also be livestreamed for remote participation. There is no charge to attend, but registration is required. Due to space limitations, early registration for in-person attendance in Honolulu is recommended.
