Learn how examiners approach writing rejections
|
Would you like to learn more about examination practices and procedure guidance for 35 U.S.C. § 103 – writing rejections? Register today for part two of the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT) series.
Part two of this course series is being offered three times:
Trainers will lead this course based on recent training delivered to patent examiners, and present hypothetical examples on how to construct clear and complete 35 U.S.C. § 103 rejections.
Part two registrants will learn basic information regarding:
- How to establish a prima facie case
- Rationale for combining prior art
- Communicating a rejection
The course has limited capacity, and selection for attendance is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
The USPTO has been approved for two hours of continued learning education (CLE) credit in Virginia for this course. Visit the USPTO’s vILT page to learn more about the program and upcoming sessions.
