Join the USPTO IP attachés for a series of roundtable events
|
The United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Intellectual Property (IP) Attaché Program invites you to a virtual interactive roundtable discussion featuring IP attachés from around the world. The IP attachés will discuss:
- A sample of international posts
- Their day-to-day roles
- Benefits of an IP attaché career
- Their individual career paths
These roundtable discussions will be moderated by USPTO Texas Regional Director Hope Shimabuku and will allow ample opportunity for interaction and questions from the audience. The IP attachés at this event represent the following regions:

- Roundtable for trade organizations, Monday, August 15, from noon to 1:30 p.m. CT
- Roundtable for law schools (law students and staff), Tuesday, August 16, from noon to 1:30 p.m. CT
- Roundtable for tech transfer, licensing, and commercialization groups, Wednesday, August 17, from noon to 1:30 p.m. CT
- Roundtable for Bar Associations, Thursday, August 18, from noon to 1:30 p.m. CT
