Decrease in Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) fees

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) fee schedule was updated with the following change, effective September 1:

PCT fees to foreign offices

• 1716: International search, Japan Patent Office (JPO) as International Searching Authority (ISA) – fee decrease from $1,336 to $1,250
