Invention con twenty twenty two

Breakout sessions have been announced for the United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) free, online Invention-Con 2022. Topics will cover funding sources, securing investors, patent applications, trademark registrations, intellectual property (IP) in the digital era, and much more.

Invention-Con 2022: Inspiring and redefining the innovative mindset, is coming August 10 – 12, from noon – 5 p.m. ET daily.

View the agenda, learn about our special guest innovators, and register early for the conference.

Take this opportunity to hear from successful innovators and subject matter experts about:

  • How inventors and entrepreneurs come from every background, from scientists creating new products in labs to hobbyists having “eureka” moments at home
  • How intellectual property can be a potential gold mine, how to protect it, and how to use it to drive successful businesses
  • How to find loans, grants, and investors
  • How IP is vital to businesses in areas ranging from sports, to the arts, to space technology, and more

Invention-Con is the USPTO's annual conference for independent inventors, entrepreneurs, and small business owners whose success depends on guarding their creative work. This program is presented by the USPTO's Office of Innovation Outreach.

Do you know a student with big ideas? If so, be sure to tell them about our Youth Day. They can participate online or in-person at USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, on Tuesday, August 9, from 1 – 4:05 p.m. ET. Register early for this special event.
