Retirement of Inventors Eye mailing list on Nov. 30

In September, we produced the final issue of Inventors Eye. Inventors Eye offered useful information, non-legal advice, and interesting stories about innovation and intellectual property (IP). We are now collaborating with Inventors Digest, the longest-running publication serving inventors and innovators, to bring you exclusive United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) content on InventorsDigest.com.

Each month, “Your USPTO” pages on the Inventors Digest website highlight our latest programs, announce our upcoming events, and share illuminating information about the USPTO’s growing importance in America.

Now that we are collaborating with Inventors Digest, we are retiring this Inventors Eye mailing list on November 30. We will continue to provide updates about our activities and share relatable stories about inventors and entrepreneurs through other topic-specific lists, such as the USPTO Events and Journeys of Innovation lists. If you do not already receive updates from those lists, we will migrate your information to those on November 30 so that you continue to receive updates from us. No action is needed on your part.

As we retire this mailing list, we encourage you to review your USPTO mailing list subscriptions to ensure you are signed up to receive updates from us on topics of interest to you.

Some related lists of interest are:

  • USPTO News and Updates–Announcements of USPTO initiatives, programs, and policies.
  • USPTO Monthly Review–A monthly at-a-glance summary of new initiatives, events, and significant media coverage during the previous month.
  • USPTO Director’s Forum Blog–A blog by USPTO leadership discussing the latest topics of interest to the USPTO and the intellectual property community.
  • Patent Alerts–Notices and announcements on patents operations, patent form updates, fee changes, EFS-Web, e-Office Actions, PDX, PAIR, and Patent Public Advisory Committee meetings.
  • Trademarks Alerts–Updates and announcements on upcoming trademark system changes, events and roundtables, rules changes, and other Trademarks Operation matters.
