Before PATRICK R. SCANLON, GEORGIANNA W. BRADEN, and JASON W. MELVIN, Administrative Patent Judges. MELVIN, Administrative Patent Judge. Oral argument will commence at noon CT (1 p.m. ET) on August 27. The hearing will be conducted at the USPTO Texas Regional Office, 207 South Houston St., Suite 159, Dallas, Texas.  Each side will receive ninety (90) minutes of presentation time (including any rebuttal).*

The hearing will be open to the public for in-person attendance. Members of the public may remotely attend the hearings in the USPTO Detroit Regional Office, 300 River Place Drive, Suite 2900, Detroit, MI 48207. Seating is limited and will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Building access instructions

Upon entering the building, proceed to the security desk and present a valid federal or state photo ID. After screening, the building security guards will direct you to the appropriate elevators. Once you reach the second floor, continue to the USPTO guard desk.

Parking

Free parking is available in the parking garage at 600 River Place Drive, adjacent to our building. Guests must state they are visiting the USPTO. Paid parking is available across the street for $4; payment is required immediately after parking ($4). Validate self-parking in the lobby with security; the parking attendant will provide a refund upon exit. Valet parking is not refundable. The parking fee refund is provided by building management. The USPTO is not responsible for parking fee refunds or any parking-related issues.
