Partnership Meeting held on March 15, 2018.
Attendees heard Opening Remarks from Andrew I. Faile, Deputy Commissioner for Patent Operations, followed by a Business Methods Operations and Initiatives Update from Director Tariq Hafiz. Attendees had an opportunity to take official Subject Matter Eligibility training directly from Training Quality Assurance Supervisor (TQAS) Bob Weinhardt. The day’s events wrapped up with a PTAB Panel Discussion about ex parte Appeals with Lead Administrative Patent Judge Michael W. Kim and Administrative Patent Judge Hubert Lorin, followed by Closing Remarks from Director Hafiz.
