The National Patent Application Drafting Competition (NPADC) is a team competition that introduces law students to U.S. patent laws and regulations and helps them develop patent application drafting skills. The competing teams are judged on factors such as describing the invention, developing a prior art search strategy and identifying relevant references, determining patentable subject matter, and constructing claims.
