UPDATE: Global Issue Affecting USPTO Users 07.19.2024 5:05 p.m.

The Service Desk will contact customers who
have left a voicemail over the weekend. If you are within 50 miles of the
USPTO HQ OCIO, you have an option to come on site to resolve this global issue
at the two designated locations on campus. There will be technical support
staff from 8 a.m. ET until  5 p.m. ET on Monday, July 22.  The
following are the locations:

  1. Main
    campus building (Madison East/West Atrium) is outside of the Public Search
    Facility
  2. Eisenhower
    Depot-
     2034 Eisenhower Avenue,
    Alexandria, VA 22134

You must bring your laptop to campus and
there will be staff to assist in resolving the issues.


UPDATE: Windows Outage 07.19.2024 12:20 p.m.

A global issue is affecting multiple systems across the agency. Some of our users are reporting a blue "Recovery" screen on their workstation. Restarting will not resolve the issue. Users that are able to logon to their workstations, DO NOT REBOOT to avoid getting the blue Recovery screen. Service Desk is currently experiencing a high call volume, expect longer than normal wait times. Please watch for updates on System 411.
